Aquatic Mint (Mentha aquatica)

Creeping plant used to cover edges. Round leaves are hairy, and often take on a maroon tinge. Foliage emits a mint scent when crushed.

• Shallow marginal (3”-8” water depth)
• Lavender flowers in late summer
• Attracts birds and butterflies
• Can be used to flavor tea, water or anything needing a sprig of mint
• Great for streams and bog gardens
• Very fast grower
• Grows 18”-32” tall in full sun to part shade
