Boasting Veja’s own B-Mesh material made from recycled plastic bottles, these monochrome SDU RT B-Mesh Shoes have black mesh uppers below overlay panels made from TPU and vegan suede. Crisp white logo V overlays have been added on either side section and above colour matched cotton laces provide a secure fit over a slim suede tongue, complete with signature Veja branding. Around the back of the heel vegan suede adds further durability and sits below a natural coloured panel which provides a background for contrasting ‘VEJA’ lettering. The shoes feature a jersey lining made from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, whilst the black and white outsole is made from a mix of wild rubber and other synthetic materials.
Made in Brazil in the region of Porto Alegre, this footwear style from Veja uses three plastic bottles within its construction which promotes the brand’s own B-Mesh material, which is both breathable and water-repellent whilst also making use of post-consumer waste. Since establishing in 2003 and releasing their first footwear style in 2005, Veja are continuing to pioneer modern techniques within the footwear industry that results in transparent, ethical and sustainably conscious styles.
