Designed with colourful nubuck, leather and J-mesh panelling across Veja’s celebratory V-10 model, these Veja Womens V-10 Leather Shoes offer a contemporary, multicoloured aesthetic with signature branding. The front of the tongue is made from a breathable mesh whilst above cotton laces loop around a slim leather border to provide a secure fit. Contrasting ‘V’ shapes have been added on either side of the outer, cut from wild rubber, and on the back of the heels ‘Veja’ text has been printed in white against a light brown background. An organic cotton lining runs throughout the style and the insole is made from wild rubber combined with synthetic materials. The thick outsole provides support and grip and is also made from Amazonian rubber, dyed to have a light, natural finish.

Promoting a range of sustainably sourced materials, this addition of Veja’s V-10 leather shoes use a material called J-mesh, which is made from 21% recycled polyester, 50% recycled cotton and 29% jute. This gives a taste of what the brand strives to do as players within the global footwear industry, which they discovered regularly uses unethical practises that affects both the workers and their surrounding natural environments. Since 2005, Veja have been striving to make a change and ensure their Brazil based manufacturer leads the way for conscious production.
